I am glad I found your blog. I visited Okinawa brifely in 1971. I will be in Okinawa in December. My Daughter is stationed there.
I have been interested in Japanese swords most of my life. I have a very modest collection. I have always wanted to watch a smith at work. I did see Yoshindo Yoshihara working for a few hours at an exhibition in Dallas, many years ago. Also, a smith named Enimoto removed a gimei from a sword for me in Mineapolis a few years back. Do you know if it would be at all possible for me to observe SMITH kANEHAMA kIYOCHIKA
